Artisans and farmers of the area are invited to attend a vendor meeting introducing the 2015 Berea Farmers Market season. The meeting will give an overview of the requirements of becoming a vendor as well as introduce current and potential members to our outreach plan and vendor support program for the year including a new kid’s club, Second Saturdays, Eat Local 101, double dollars program, financial support for vendor development and more funded by the USDA’s Farmers Market Promotion Program. Additionally, look for chicken, beef, pork and eggs; seasonal fruits and berries; fresh cut and dried herbs; canned goods; fresh baked breads and sweets; organic and heirloom produce; wild and cultivated mushrooms; flours and grains (even popcorn); and starter plants and flowers.
